At CFB, our fleet is a mobile extension of our field operations, helping support engineering, surveying, geospatial, environmental, and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services throughout Florida. Today, CFB operates a fleet of 35 vehicles supporting projects across multiple service areas and regions throughout Florida.
The fleet includes:
- 27 vehicles dedicated to field crews
- 2 runner vehicles supporting logistics and operations
- 6 vehicles assigned to specialized personnel, including company leadership, environmental sciences staff, and business development
Our field crew vehicles each travel approximately 15,000 to 25,000 miles annually, collectively covering nearly 560,000 miles every year. Those miles represent thousands of site visits, field investigations, surveys, inspections, and project meetings across the state.
Each vehicle serves as a mobile workstation, allowing crews to safely transport equipment, stay connected, and respond efficiently to changing project needs.
Beyond Standard Fleet Vehicles
Florida’s project sites aren’t always accessible by road. Crews may work along busy highways one day and in wetlands, utility corridors, undeveloped property, or remote environmental sites the next.
To reach these locations, CFB’s fleet includes more than trucks and SUVs. Operational assets also include:
- Two jon boats
- Two utility terrain vehicles (UTVs)
- Specialty trailers for transporting both UTVs and marine equipment
Having the right equipment allows crews to safely access challenging terrain while improving efficiency and reducing delays.

- GPS and GNSS survey systems
- Robotic total stations
- Utility locating equipment
