As President, Lee Clymer is responsible for overseeing operations across the firm and for providing executive leadership and strategic guidance. Lee believes in the importance of collaboration to develop innovative solutions for the challenges clients face today. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  After graduation, Lee joined the firm in 2005, filling many key roles while advancing within the company.  Working from the bottom up within the firm has allowed Lee to form unique relationships and develop efficiencies to improve the design, permitting, and construction phases of projects.  Lee takes pride in leading a firm that displays excellence and integrity in all that they do.

Born and raised in Ocala, Florida, Lee married his high school sweetheart, and Ocala is where they raise their three children today.

Robert “Bob” Farner is an owner and Principal of CLYMER FARNER BARLEY, Inc. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and holds licenses to practice civil engineering and land surveying in the state of Florida. Bob is a native Floridian, born and raised in Leesburg, Florida. He has been involved in all aspects of private land development, public works projects, land planning design, and permitting since 1978. He provides both hands-on project engineering and client consultation and assists with the daily operation of the company.

Bob's career has predominantly focused on a mix of private development projects and public works/municipal engineering, and it has also included infrastructure engineering for water and wastewater treatment and disposal systems. As a civil engineer he has also gained extensive experience with local planning, zoning, and the creation and implementation of Community Development Districts in the State of Florida and Improvement Districts in the State of Alabama. With over twenty-five major developments completed in Lake, Sumter, and Marion Counties, Florida, including The Villages (the largest single-site mixed-use development in the United States), Bob provides clients an extensive level of experience and knowledge to implement projects—whether small or large—to successful completion.

Steve Barley
Founder

William (Steve) Barley is one of the original founders of CFB, formerly Farner, Barley & Associates, Inc. Steve is a Professional Surveyor and Mapper licensed to practice in the State of Florida. He has been involved in all facets of land surveying since 1971 and was licensed in 1980. Steve began his career in the title insurance field before entering the field of surveying. Steve has provided expert witness testimony in multiple surveying related cases, including boundary disputes and condemnation issues. He has been the project surveyor for multiple Development of Regional Impact projects. He has been a consultant to title insurance companies involving claims and other issues. Steve spent some time on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and sat on the City of Eustis Land Development Regulations Committee. He belongs to the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping.  Steve is nearing retirement but still actively serves as a mentor to the survey staff of CFB.

Jeremy Hallick
Vice President / Survey Division Leader

Jeremy Hallick, Vice President and Survey Division Leader, is a Florida licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper.  He brings over twenty years’ experience in a wide variety of projects,  ranging from small residential lot surveys to major developments consisting of several thousand acres.   He is energetic and passionate about his profession and strives daily to serve the needs of CFB’s clients, staff, and team partners. His favorite aspect of surveying is being personally involved in every aspect of  the project, from conceptual beginning all the way to completion.   He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Florida, and a lifelong Gator fan.  Go Gators!

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, CrossFit, and spending quality time with his family.

Pete Adams
Chief Financial Officer

Allen “Pete” Adams joined CFB as Chief Financial Officer in June 2004.  In this position he is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction within the firm, as well as human resources. He serves as a key member of the Executive Management Team, assuming primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial and business-related activities of the Corporation. Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts for all team members. He oversees and analyzes all insurance needs of the Corporation. He is also a multi-engine, instrument rated commercial pilot, serving CFB in that position as needed.

Kaye Jameson

Kaye is a native Floridian who was born in Lakeland. After moving to Sumter County in her early teens, she attended high school in Bushnell and subsequently earned A.S. and A.A. degrees from Lake-Sumter Community College in Leesburg. She began her career in 1973 as a survey draftsperson and has progressed through the ranks to become a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper. She has experience in various types of surveys, including but not limited to: ALTA, As-Built, Boundary, Geodetic, Topographic, as well as in the preparation of various types of Legal Descriptions. Since joining the firm in 1987, she has been Project Manager on FDEP appraisal mapping and land acquisitions, county right-of-way mapping and acquisitions, FDEP submerged land leases, and has been responsible for the preparation of various FEMA documents. Kaye has extensive experience in the land development and platting process. In addition, she has served as reviewing surveyor for various municipalities.

Kaye has worked closely with individuals in both the private and public sector. She has the knowledge and skills to interpret the client's needs and address them accordingly. Throughout her career, she has striven to provide a quality product in a timely manner.

Kaye is a member of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society and Central Florida Chapter of Florida Surveying and Mapping Society.

James “Hunter” Blair, Professional Surveyor and Mapper, plays a critical role in the innovation and advancement of our surveying department. While attending the University of Florida during their years of capturing several national football and basketball titles, he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics. Much of his early career was focused on the technical management of various Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) surveys devoted to the resurvey of the former Cross Florida Barge Canal, which is now known as the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway.

He has subsequently been involved in projects for a variety of clients including FDEP, FDOT, water management districts, municipalities, and the private sector. His favorite aspect of the surveying career is being faced with a new challenge on a daily basis and using the resources provided to generate a dependable product and/or service. On his time away from work, he enjoys spending time in the woods hunting and also family time on the water in Crystal River.
